Skills Clinics

PTBA Skills Clinics are designed to help young players develop their basketball skills, and to effectively use them in a competitive games. Players will learn the basic offensive and defensive principles of the sport of basketball. This is an excellent way to help players of all levels to not only continue to build their basketball skills, but to also build confidence.

Ball Handling

Ball handling skills are absolutely essential to the development of basketball players of all ages. Players will participate in fundamental and advanced ball handling drills to become more of a dribble threat. Improving ball handling skills will also help to improve passing, court vision, and court awareness.

Attacking the Rim

Attacking the rim teaches players to aggressively dribble, drive, and finish at the basket. Coaches teach players how to play through physical contact and still have the ability to score the basketball with different layup techniques.


Players will be taught fundamental shooting mechanics, ideal shot selection, and more. Coaches will put players through game situation shooting drills to help them become better scorers.

Footwork & Post Game

Footwork and post game is essential to one's basketball arsenal. Players will be taught different methods of attacking the rim whether they have their back to the basket or if they are squared up.

Speed & Agility

Speed & agility helps players get quicker and more athletic on the court. Players will go through varies footwork, jumping, speed and agility drills in order to help them perform in games. Players will become dynamic enough to get by a defender or perform an aerobatic finishing move.
