Youth Development League

PTBA offers league play in a controlled environment to provide opportunities for players to gain valuable experience. The Youth Development League is eight weeks long and runs in the Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall of every year.

Players  will get up to 90 minutes of practice time per week, and 15 minutes of playing time per game. The league fee includes 8 weekly practices, 8 games, professional coaching, and a championship t-shirt. All teams practice within their respective divisions on Saturdays and compete in their games on Sundays. All new players are required to purchase a Youth League Starter Kit.

Division 9

PTBA's Youth Development League Division 9 are for players in 1st-3rd grade. Players in Division 9 should be able to execute basic basketball movements such as a jump stop, passing, and shooting. Players must be able to make multiple passes while on offense, and understand how to play on-ball defense.

Division 9 practices are held on Saturdays from 2:00pm - 3:30pm and games are Sundays at 4:00pm. All game times and schedules can be found on the Youth League Website.

Division 8

PTBA's Youth Development League Division 8 are for players in 4th-5th grade. Players in Division 8 should be able to make passes while in motion, and understand basic fundamentals in help side defense and offensive spacing.

Division 8 practices are held on Saturdays from 3:30pm - 5:00pm and games are Sundays at 5:00pm. All game times and schedules can be found on the Youth League Website.

Division 7

PTBA's Youth Development League Division 7 are for players in 6th-7th grade. Players in Division 7 should understand how to help on dribble penetration, basic passing and movement (cut, screen. fill), and understand how to make offensive adjustments against a man-to-man or zone defense.

Division 7 practices are held on Saturdays from 5:00pm - 6:30pm and games are Sundays at 6:00pm. All game times and schedules can be found on the Youth League Website.

Division 6

PTBA's Youth Development League Division 6 are for players in 8th grade and up. Players in Division 6 will be prepared for the intensity and speed of basketball competition at the high school level. Players should understand the defensive strategies of the press, trap, and hedge, and will be improving their decision making skills on offense and defense.

Division 6 practices are held on Saturdays from 6:30pm - 8:00pm and games are Sundays at 7:00pm. All game times and schedules can be found on the Youth League Website.

Adult Basketball League

The PTBA Saturday Adult Basketball League and Sunday Adult Basketball League seasons runs parallel to the Youth Development League seasons. Players are only allowed to play for one team per league. All players planning to participate in the Adult league must be recruited by a PTBA Team Manager, and is required to have a valid PTBA Membership.

PTBA Team Managers must submit their official rosters before the beginning of the season and all players on the roster must register individually in order to be eligible to play.

Division 3

PTBA's Adult Basketball League Division 3 has a maximum of 8 teams, and are for players looking to play at the recreational level. However, teams that win the Division 3 championship will advance to Division 2 the following season.

All game times for Division 3 Saturday Adult Basketball League and Sunday Adult Basketball League are scheduled between 8:00am to 12:00pm.

Division 2

PTBA's Adult Basketball League Division 2 has a maximum of 8 teams and are for players looking to play at the competitive level. Teams that finish in last place will drop down into Division 3 the following season.

All game times for Division 2 Saturday Adult Basketball League and Sunday Adult Basketball League are scheduled between 8:00am to 12:00pm.
